JCQ played 4 gigs at Monaco's Le Moods Club from 15-19 September 2009, and went down a storm - the crowd was enthusiastic and international, with friends, visitors and fans from France, Monte Carlo, Russia, England, Japan, Italy, Romania, Australia and the Isle of Man!
The club is a wonderfully intimate and glamorous venue, with large dancefloor and cocktail tables, a galleried surround and video screens throughout. The band got tighter and tighter throughout the week, and by John's birthday on Saturday really were really blasting through the set.
The surroundings in the Bay of Monaco were stunning, as the club is beneath the Casino, a stone's throw from the Mediterranean. We enjoyed long lazy days by the pool watching the yachts sailing by, and were then able to walk to and from the gig - what a luxury.......
